Do you dream about standing beneath Uluru, swimming with dolphins in Monkey Mia, surfing the breaks along the Great Ocean Road, dancing till dawn in Sydney, chilling-out in the rainforests of Northern Queensland... And then telling the whole world about it?
Could you be our first Adventures Ambassador?
We're looking for the best travel bloggers in the world to share part of a huge 2 year Aussie road trip. Each Ambassador can have the van for FREE for up to 6 weeks, and will be set-up with the latest on-the-road blogging technology to record the sights & sounds of their journey and share them with the rest of the world.
What you'll need to be
- You must have a monumental spirit for adventure and a desire to share your adventures through blogs, podcasts & vidcasts.
- You must be comfortable with the use of laptop computers, mobile phones & iPods; in a nutshell, you can't be a technophobe.
- You must be over 21 and hold a valid overseas drivers licence.
- You must be already travelling in Australia and prepared to travel to the designated pick up point to take over the Ambassador van from the previous Nomads. However, you'll be able to choose your own route for the 6 weeks you have the van.
What we'll provide to help you

The World Nomads Ambassador van (provided by Travellers Auto Barn) to get you and your travelling partner/s around Australia in comfort, safety and lashings of World Nomads style !

A total travel writer / blogger toolkit including laptop computer, iPod & audio recording gear, Nokia N-Series phone & wireless keyboard, guidebooks and other goodies to kit you up and help you record your adventure.

Your World Nomads travel journal so you can share your adventure with friends, family and the big wide online world!
What you'll have to do as the World Nomads Ambassador

When you're on the road, you'll need to post a minimum of three (3) written journal entries per week, a minumum of 2 audio podcasts per trip and/or a minimum of 2 vidcasts per trip.

As part of your journal commitments above, you must use your Lonely Planet guide book to source a unique destination once a week and write, record or film it as a 'Great guidebook moment'.

You'll need to cover the running costs of the van (fuel, oil etc) as well as your living expenses (food, alcohol etc).

You'll need to abide by the terms of a standard car rental agreement - including having a valid driver's licence and a credit card, as well as the terms & conditions set out by World Nomads whilst you're an Ambassador ( i.e. Don't get arrested for driving the car and roof surfing nude down the main street of Sydney !!)
